How To Use GC Tooth Mousse with Recaldent
Do you have tooth sensitivity, due to cracks, bleaching, worn enamel or exposed root surfaces. GC Tooth Mousse soothes sensitivity in just minutes. It delivers calcium and phosphate to provide a protective covering for dental nerve endings. It helps to remineralise your teeth and restore a health oral mineral balance. Buffering plaque acid as it reduces sensitivity.

Soft drinks might taste good, but their acid levels can cause tooth erosion - leaving a bad taste in your mouth. In fact, there are numerous causes of harmful high oral acids, including; Poor oral hygiene, Drinking excessive soft drinks, sports drinks and alcoholic beverages, Pregnancy, and Gastric reflux. GC tooth Mousse binds tooth-replenishing calcium and phosphate to teeth. It can strengthen enamel, and improve saliva flow and fluoride uptake.

Straightening your teeth with braces builds a beautiful smile, but braces can also trap food and build plaque that leads to white spots forming on your teeth. GC Tooth Mousse prevents white spot lesions from occurring. It also buffers acids produced by bacteria and plaque. It strengthens enamel making it more resistant to white spot lesions. And after you remove your braces, GC Tooth Mousse will remineralise white spots, optimise the tooth enamel's appearance, and increase the reflectivity of the enamel surface.

Saliva is your body's natural oral defence system, delivering important minerals to your teeth to keep them strong and healthy, but many factors can limit or reduce your ability to produce saliva, including aging, reactions to medications, disease, chemotherapy, stress. Without saliva, you can suffer a mineral imbalance that leads to increased risk of tooth disease. GC Tooth Mousse delivers calcium and phosphate when and where they are needed most. It binds minerals to tooth surfaces, plaque and soft tissue. It corrects the mineral balance and improves saliva flow and fluoride uptake. It relieves dry mouth.

GC Tooth Mousse with Recaldent - Original
What is it.
Tooth Mousse is a water-based creme containing Recaldent©CPP-ACP (Casein Phosphopeptide-Amorphous Calcium Phosphate. It is sugar free with a special blend of polishing, cleaning and dentinal tubule sealing agents. It comes in 5 tasty flavours - melon, mint, strawberry, tutti fruitti and vanilla. When CPP-ACP is applied in the oral environment, it will bind to biofilms, plaque, bacteria, hydroxyapatite (tooth structure) and soft tissue localising bio-available calcium and phosphate

How to apply it. Same as Tooth Mousse Plus, Recaldent Tooth Mousse is applied at night before sleep and after cleaning your teeth with normal toothpaste. Simply rub a smear over all the tooth surfaces. The use dental floss and floss the mousse between the teeth. Leave alone for 3 minutes. You can choose your preference of flavour, but we cannot guarantee this, it depends on our stock at the time.

Saliva will enhance the effectiveness of CPP-ACP and the flavour will help stimulate saliva flow. The longer CPP-ACP and saliva are maintained in the mouth, the more effective the result. Recaldent Tooth Mousse provides extra protection for teeth. It helps to neutralise acid challenges from acidogenic bacteria in plaque. It helps to neutralise acid challenges from other internal and external acid sources.

Flavours. When you order a Box of 10 tubes you will receive 2 tubes of each flavour (strawberry, vanilla, melon, tutti frutti, mint)

GC Tooth Mousse with Recaldent - Plus
This stronger Mousse is recommended at night when a patient has marked salivary dysfunction (dry mouth), for example, because of medications, systemic illnesses, or salivary gland disease, because of enhanced risk of mineral loss from dental caries or erosion of teeth. These patients would also benefit from daytime applications of GC Dry Mouth Gel to gain symptomatic relief for oral dryness. Patients should be at least six years of age before using Tooth Mousse Plus.

Under this age children should only use the Original Tooth Mousse because of fluoride ingestion. The unique CPP-ACP (amorphous calcium phosphate and fluoride) complexes in Tooth Mousse Plus were developed at the University of Melbourne Scholl of Dental Science.

What About Pregnant Mothers. There are no proven dental or general health benefits or risks from pre-natal fluoride containing products. Fluoride supplements are not indicated in pregnancy, however Tooth Mousse Plus can be used as a topical treatment in high caries risk pregnant women or in situations where reflux is causing dental erosion and dentinal hypersensitivity.

How to Apply It. Just like Tooth Mousse, Tooth Mousse Plus is applied topically to at-risk surfaces. This can be done by first cleaning the teeth and then smearing a small amount of Tooth Mousse Plus across the tooth surfaces with a clean finger or cotton-tipped applicator. When applied immediately before bed, the material is then left in place, to dissolve slowly overnight. It is not rinsed out. Tooth Mousse Plus can also be applied topically to teeth using a custom -made tray such as a bleach guard made for a whitening gel.

Flavours. When you order a Box of 10 tubes you will receive 4Mint tubes, 4Strawberry tubes, 2 Vanilla tubes.

Recaldent CPP-ACP is derived from milk casein. Do not use if you have a milk protein allergy.
